The 2026 Cougar Sport Awards brought together staff and student-athletes to celebrate accomplishments from the past year. Awards highlighted the excellence of the Cougs on and off the field.

The men's track and field team took home the Glenn Kranc Memorial Academic Award for their consistent efforts in the classroom. Swimming was presented with the Team Civic Engagement Award for the work they continue to do in the Pullman community.

Staff members were also featured for their hard work and dedication to the community they serve. Camille Williams, one of the assistant coaches for women's basketball, was celebrated with the Power of Title IX Award. Coach Laura Harmon was highlighted as the Coach of the Year for the record-breaking season the women's cross country team had.

Rosemary Longisa, an athlete on the women's cross country team, was named Athlete of the Year after breaking multiple WSU and NCAA records during her first year in the program.
