Five Cougars Named to Pac-12 All-Academic Volleyball Teams

Pac-12 Volleyball All-Academic WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Washington State University junior Camryn Irwin was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Women's Volleyball First Team and was joined by four of her WSU teammates, Commissioner Larry Scott announced Wednesday. Irwin, a setter from Brush Prairie, Wash., was one of seven women named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team. She has a 3.97 cumulative grade point average and is majoring in journalism and media production at WSU. Stephanie Logan, a redshirt freshman right side hitter from Pullman, Wash., was one of seven players named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team. She has a 3.97 GPA and has yet to declare a major area of study. Three Cougars were named to the honorable mention team: Chelsey Bettinson, a sophomore outside hitter from Richland, Wash. (3.14 GPA, undeclared), Shawna Lum, a sophomore defensive specialist from Westchester, Calif. (3.39 GPA, undeclared), and Rachel Todorovich, a senior right side hitter from Walla Walla, Wash. (3.18 GPA, communication). To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
