WSU VOLLEYBALL HITS THE ROAD FOR MATCHES AT DUCKS, BEAVERS
The Washington State University volleyball team (10-8, 0-6 Pac-12) stays on the road for a second weekend of Pac-12 matches, this time in Oregon...Cougars play at No. 5 Oregon (14-1, 5-1) Fri., Oct. 12 in a 6 p.m. match at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene...Sun., Oct. 14 WSU takes on Oregon State (12-6, 2-4) at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis at 2 p.m...both matches will be televised live on the Pac-12 TV Networks.
COUGAR COACHING STAFF: BUILDING A WINNING PROGRAM
Head Coach Jen Stinson Greeny (22-28 at WSU, 2nd year; 134-52 in career, 6th year)...during her first season Greeny's team doubled the total number of wins from the previous season, including four more wins in the elite Pac-12 Conference action...Meagan Ganzer became the first Cougar to be named to All-Pac-12 and All-Pacific Region teams since 2002, and All-American, the fourth in WSU history and the first since 1996....assistant coaches Pat Stangle (former head coach at Wyoming, former asst. coach at Washington) and Burdette Greeny (former asst. coach at LCSC)...Katie Hinrichs, coordinator of operations (former player at LCSC)...volunteer coach Shannon Wyckoff Hunt was the first WSU player to reach 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career.

Cougar volleyball fans can listen to all the road contests during the 2012 season LIVE in the Palouse on KQQQ-AM radio (1150 AM)...veteran area broadcaster Steve Grubbs is the voice of Cougar volleyball for the seventh season...road matches are also available on the internet by purchasing a subscription through Cougar All-Access on the wsucougars.com website.

The Pac-12 Conference launched the Pac-12 Networks Aug. 15, 2012... friends, family and avid volleyball fans around the country will be treated to a 12 broadcasts of WSU volleyball matches during the 2012 season on the Pac-12 Networks...five home matches and seven Cougar volleyball road contests will be televised. "We are thrilled with the amount of television coverage we will have with the new Pac-12 Network this year," WSU Head Coach Jen Greeny said. "It is sensational to see the Pac-12 make such a strong commitment to televise the sport of volleyball. This is a great schedule and we are excited to play 12 matches on TV this fall."
