Ganzer Named to Puerto Rico Pro League All-Star Team

PUERTO RICO - Former Washington State volleyball player Meagan Ganzer was named to the Puerto Rican Volleyball Federation professional league All-Star team Tuesday. Ganzer, a 6-3 right side hitter, led the league in points in her debut season, playing for the Ponce Lions team which advanced to post-season play. The WSU 2011 All-American from Black Diamond, Wash., Ganzer was an All-Pac-12 and AVCA All-Pacific Region selection last fall. She began playing professionally in January of 2012 and dominated the Puerto Rican Volleyball Federation regular season with 425 points as a right side hitter for Ponce. The 2012 All-Star Team consists of Erin Moore (University of Michigan), Jessica Jones (University of Minnesota), Meagan Ganzer (Washington State), Michelle Nogueras (Saint Leo University, from Puerto Rico), and Debora Seilhamer (Southern California).
