Earned three varsity letters at Woodinville High…all came playing varsity volleyball for coach Chris Pratt…as a SOPHOMORE, captained the junior varsity team…voted most valuable player on team…during her JUNIOR season, Woodinville was 27-3 overall…undefeated in KingCo conference…named to All-KingCo second team…SENIOR year, the Falcons were again undefeated in league play at 13-0…25-5 overall record but did not advance from pool play at state tournament…named to All-KingCo first team…selected as Seattle Times Star of the Week…also earned Eastside Journal Prep Athlete of the Week.

Kathleen Monda was born October 25, 1982, at Portland, Oregon…father Mike is a construction manager…mother Janet is an architect…brother Collin (2/10/85)…long line of Cougars in family - father and mother in 1979, uncles Damian Monda (1978) and Greg Monda (1984)…Greg plaeyd professional baseball for the Cincinnati Reds…enjoys tennis, art and reading…planning to major in interior design at WSU.
