Assistant Coach TeAna L. Crutcher-Tramel came to Pullman in April 2008 after two years as head volleyball coach and assistant athletic director at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kan.

In 2006, Crutcher-Tramel led her squad to a 24-9 record, which marks the most wins in a single season at Bethany College. The Swedes also earned their first regional ranking in school history during the 2006 season.

Crutcher-Tramel served as the head coach at Cameron University (Lawton, Okla.) from 2005-2006. Prior to that, she was a graduate assistant coach and wellness supervisor to Andrew Palileo at South Dakota State University from 2003-2005. During this time, she assisted SDSU in the transition from NCAA Div. II to NCAA Div. I athletics.

During the spring of 2003, Crutcher-Tramel worked as an undergraduate assistant coach at New Mexico State University, where she coordinated individual workouts, organized summer camps and assisted with strength and conditioning practices.

Crutcher-Tramel played volleyball at the University of Louisiana at Monroe from 1999-2001. She was a two-year volleyball letter winner and a member of the All-Southland Conference team. Crutcher-Tramel completed her playing career at New Mexico State University (2001-2003). At NMSU, she was a two-year volleyball letter winner and a two-time Sun Belt Conference All-Academic team member.

Off the court, Crutcher-Tramel has been a health and physical education instructor at Cameron University and South Dakota State. She is also a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association, National Strength and Conditioning Association and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

Crutcher-Tramel received her Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico State in 2003 and went on to earn her Masters of Science degree in sports administration from South Dakota State in 2005.

Her husband, Matt Tramel, is currently the head baseball coach at Bethany College.
