Cougar senior ranked No. 33 in ITA preseason poll

PULLMAN, Wash. - Senior Liudmila Vasilieva received a preseason national ranking of 33 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, the organization recently announced.

In 2012, the Yekaterinburg, Russia native posted a 32-9 record, the second-most single-season wins in school history, along with a 19-7 record in dual match play. In addition to reaching the NCAA Singles Championship for the second time in her career (2010), Vasilieva received second-team All-Pac-12 honors while leading the Cougars to the NCAA Team Championship for the first time since 2008.
