Toth Unbeaten In Pac-10 Invitational Singles

The Cougar sophomore is the only player remaining in action for Washington State.

Amy Toth will face Carine Vermeulen in the Finals Sunday at 8 a.m. at the Pac-10 Invitational.

OJAI, Calif.- Washington State sophomore Amy Toth is the only Cougar remaining in competition at the Pac-10 Championships/Invitational after cruising by Jessica Leitch of Arizona State Saturday by a score of 6-0, 6-4.

The win gives Toth 22 total singles victories on the season and places her in the finals match against USC's Carine Vermeulen Sunday at 8 a.m.

"Amy did a great job jumping out on top early," Washington State Head Coach Lisa Hart said. "She executed her strategy well and we're excited for her to be in the finals tomorrow."
