Cougars Defeat Cal State Northridge 4-3

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The No. 73 Washington State women's tennis team defeated Cal State Northridge 4-3, Tuesday afternoon (March 15) at the Northridge Tennis Complex. The Cougars, who improved to 6-8, took the doubles point, as the No. 1 tandem of Ekaterina Burduli and Nora Gaal and the No. 2 team of Chris Martinez and Orsolya Sallai captured wins. Burduli, Gaal, and Amy Toth posted straight set victories at the No. 1, No. 4 and No. 5 singles spot, respectively, to clinch the 4-3 win for the Cougars. WSU returns to action at San Diego, Thursday (March 17) at 9:30 a.m. Washington State (4) vs. Cal State Northridge (3)
