After a quarterfinal bye the tandem fell to DeVera/Matias of USC, 8-1 in the semifinal round.

The regionally-ranked No. 9 doubles tandem of Lorena Arias and Chris Martinez also knocked off their opponents, Oregon's Ferreira/Larocque, 8-2. The tandem withdrew from their quarterfinals match due to fatigue.

In other doubles action Cougars Zorana Roganovic and Orsolya Sallai were defeated by Washington's Carter/Sumantri, 8-3.

In singles consolation play the Cougars recorded 6 wins, and two players received byes into the semifinal round.
