WSU Swimmers Move Up All-Time Top 10 List

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Members of the Washington State women's swim team continue to move up the Cougar all-time top 10 list with strong performances at the Pacific-10 Championships in Federal Way, Wash. In the 200 individual medley Jane Copland swam a lifetime best 2:04.51 to improve her second place mark on the Cougar all-time top 10 list. McKenzie Reiter solidified her third place ranking on the Cougar all-time top 10 list by swimming a time of 2:05.62 in the 200 individual medley. Reiter's and Copland's times qualified them both for the U.S. Open. Kayli Changstrom swam a lifetime best time of 4:57.45 in the 500 freestyle to move her into third place on the Cougar all-time top 10 list. Lina Daugvilaite put her name into sixth place on the Cougar all-time top 10 list with a time of 4:59.11 in the 500 freestyle. The Cougar's 200 freestyle relay established season best time by swimming a 1:37.04. This eclipsed the previous mark of 1:37.49 The Pac-10 Championships will continue Feb. 25-26 at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way. Wash. The Pac-10 Championships features seven 2004 Olympians. The swimmers hail from Argentina, China, Hungary and the United States.
