Previously swam for two different teams in Spain...grew up swimming for Santo Reino Swim Club in Jaen...trained four years at Andalusia Performance Center...spent the last two years training and racing for University of Granada Sports Club...earned a combined seven gold medals in four years of swimming at the Spanish Championships...captured 16 gold medals at the Andalusian Championship...born in Jaen, Spain...age 21...parents Jose and Ana...younger sister Ana...plans to pursue a degree in the fine arts.
