Eight Washington State swimmers earn accolades.
As a team Washington State maintained its ninth place standing through day three of the Pac-12 Women's Swimming Championship.
The meet will run from Wednesday, February, 22 - Saturday, February 25 at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.
Haley Anderson and Shelbi Luchini each win twice.
The meet marks the final dual meet of the season and the last competition the Cougars will face before the Pac-12 Championships.
Sophomore (2009-10): Moved up to eighth place on the Cougar all-time top-10 list in the 200 back (2:03.08)...also finished with season best times in the 100 back (58.97) and 200 IM (2:10.24)...won the 200 back in meet against Idaho...helped WSU defeat the Redhawks of Seattle by finishing third in the 200 back and fourth in the 100 back.
Freshman (2008-09): Finished 34th overall at the Pacific-10 Championship in the 200 back...placed 35th overall in the 100 back (58.39) and 37th overall in the 400 IM (4:37.41)...placed sixth in the "D" Final (30th overall) in the 200 back (2:07.47) at the Texas Invitational...scored at the Pacific Invitational with a fourth place finish in the 200 back (2:09.31), a 13th place finish in the 400 IM (4:43.51) and a 14th place finish in the 100 back (1:01.68).
