WSU CAREER
Freshman (2001-02)...established a personal best in the 200 butterfly at the Pac-10 Championships with a time of 2:13.44...set another personal best at the Arkansas Invitational with a 18:11.17 in the 1,650 freestyle...sophomore (2002-03)...recorded personal bests in the 500 freestyle, 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly at the Speedo Cup Invitational...set two other personal bests at the Pacific Invitational in the 1000 and 1,650 freestyles...earned Pac-10 All-Academic second team honors...junior (2003-04)...swam two lifetime best times (200 and 100 freestyles) at the Pac-10 Championships...also recorded season best times in the 500 freestyle (5:18.52) and 100 butterfly (1:01.79) at the Pac-10 Championships and Pac-10 Invitational...earned Pac-10 All-Academic second team honors for second consecutive season.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB CAREER
Earned four varsity letter in swimming at Vacaville High School...senior year placed second in the 100 butterfly and 500 freestyle in the Monticello Empire League...placed seventh in the 100 butterfly at the high school sectional meet...named team MVP...earned a CIF All-Academic selection.

Born April 6, 1983 in San Francisco, California to parents Jim and Melanie Irwin...sister Katie...graduated sixth in her high school class with a 4.3 grade-point average...member of the Interact Club and the California Scholastic Federation...enjoys playing bass guitar in her spare time...will prusue a degree in zoology.
