Freshman (2009-10): Marked a lifetime best in the 1000 free at Northern Arizona (10:29.02)...earned a second place finish in the 1000 free and third place finishes in the 500 free and 200 fly against Seattle...surged at the Pac-10 Championships setting lifetime bests in four events including the 200 free, 500 free, 1650 free and 200 fly.
PERSONAL
Earned four varsity letters at Santiago High School...won the Mountain View League title in the 200 and 500 in each of her four years as a SHS Shark...currently holds school records in both those events...served as varsity captain during her junior and senior years...left SHS as a two-time USA All-American and a four-time team MVP...was elected into high school hall of fame during her senior year...born in Corona, Calif...father Jim is an airplane mechanic and mother Connie is an office manager...has one sibling, her younger brother Jimmy...enjoys swimming and spending time with her family and friends in her spare time...earned the High Honors Award each year of her high school career...fine arts degree.
