Attended Central Kitsap High School...participated in swimming and water polo...her freshman year, placed 14th in the 100 freestyle at the State championships...earned first team all-league honors... as a sophomore, set Olympic League record in 100 free...finshed eighth in State in 50 free...14th at State in 100 free... in 2001, as a junior, led team to a 6-1 record, fifth place finish at State...placed sixth at the State championships in the 100 free, seventh in 50 free...All-America consideration for the 400 free relay...as a senior, led team to a 7-1 record, finishing fourth at the WIAA 4A State Championships...received All-America consideration in the 50 free and 100 free...placed fifth at State in 50 free, sixth in 100 free...member of All-American 400 free relay team...school record holder in the 50 and 100 free and 200 and 400 free relays...swam for the Gig Harbor Peninsula Swim Club under coaches Ben Olszewski and Sean Muncie.
