After spending three seasons as an assistant coach at Idaho, Adriana Quirke made the move to Pullman shortly after Tom Jager was hired as the Cougars' head coach. Quirke and Jager have been together since 2004 when she was part of his initial recruiting class at Idaho when the Vandals reinstated their program. She joined Idaho after spending one season at San Diego State.
As a Vandal swimmer, Quirke set the school record in the 200 individual medley and held 13 top 10 spots all-time at Idaho, spanning four events.
She won the team's Vandal Zone Award as a senior. The only award given out by Idaho, it is presented to the student-athlete who performs well in the pool, has a positive impact on the team, does well in school, and conducts herself well in everyday life.
She graduated from Idaho with a bachelor's degree in sports science and made and immediate transition to full-time assistant coach in 2008.
