Washington State recognized for 2011-12 effort in the classroom.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Washington State University soccer received the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for 2011-12.

The Cougars posted a 3.14 GPA under first-year head coach Keidane McAlpine and received the honor for the seventh time in the last nine seasons. To be eligible, a program must have a team GPA of 3.0 or better during the academic year.
