Devlyn Jeter hits the crossbar, but Zoe Jeffers is denied by Erin Dees in round 8.
Noelle La Prevotte (Portland) and Nicole Setterlund each convert in round 7 to make it 5-5.
Portland goalkeeper Erin Dees converts, and then makes the save on Rachael Doyle so its 4-4 and we go to extra rounds.
Rebekah Kurle (Portland) each make in round 4 so it's 4-3 WSU.
Michelle Cruz (Portland) and Micaela Castain each convert in round 3 to make the score 3-2 WSU.

The match moves to penalty kicks. There will be five rounds, alternating teams. If tied, extra round(s) will be played until a winner is determined.
The Cougar defense blocks the first shot in the box and Gurveen Clair makes a tremendous one-handed diving save late in the 109th minute.
At 107:59, Gurveen Clair makes save off a free kick from 20 yards out on the left side.
At 103:31, Washington State takes its ninth corner kick in the match. Micaela Castain's shot is saved by Erin Dees.

Here are the overtime rules. The teams will play a 10-minute period. First goal wins. If neither team scores, there will be a second 10-minute period. Again, first goal wins. If neither overtime period nets a goal, the match will be decided on penalty kicks.

Korynn Blanksma shot from eight yards out is turned away. Mesa Owsley follows with a corner kick that is cleared out. Delaney Zalud heads the ball back into the box and Nicole Setterlund flicks the ball past toward the net with her back to the goal. The balls slips past Erin Dees and it is 2-1 Coguars at 53:46.

At 48:49, a rocket off the foot of Mesa Owsley is tipped away and the Cougars earn their sixth corner kick of the match.
Less than a minute into the second half, a Taylor Brooke shot for Portland is just high.
A back heel pass up the left side by Amanda Frisbie leads to the equalizer at 42:06 as Kendall Johnson beats Gurveen Clair to the far post. Washington State 1, Portland 1.
At 39:40, Portland is offside.
Portland picks up a corner kick near the 37-minute mark.
Micalea Castain beats a defender up the left side into the box. Her cross from is chipped in by Brandi Vega at 35:35. The Cougars hold a 9-1 advantage in shots and now lead 1-0!
The Cougars add another corner kick to their total at 34:09. Lauren Previs puts a shot from 25 yards out above the bar at 34:33.
Lauren Previs breaks up a Pilots' threat as she comes from her midfield position to get a foot on a Portland pass.
Just shy of the 31-minute mark, Portland makes its first substitution with Kaila Cameli replacing Devlyn Jeter in the midifield.
A good run by Kourtney Guetlein earns a corner kick at 29:15, the Cougars' fourth of the match.
Near the 26-minute mark, Brandi Vega's shot is turned away with a diving save by Erin Dees.
At 22:58, Brandi Vega's shot in the box is blocked. Just 27 seconds later, Vega blasts a shot wide left from just outside the top of the box.
Gurveen Clair is forced to make her first save in the match, at 15:20.
A dangerous cross by Korynn Blanksma from the right is cleared out of the box by Portland at 12:30.
Portland is offside at 10:36.

Micaela Castain's free kick from 20 yards out is fired just above the bar nearly 10 minutes into the match.
The Cougars are awarded a free kick on the Pilots' side of the field near the 7:00 mark and it leads to a WSU throw in deep in Portland territory. The Cougars generate a corner kick from the right that is cleared. The ball is sent back in quickly and Rachael Doyle's shot from the top of the box is wide right.
Good work by Micaela Castain on the left side earns a corner kick for the Cougars at 5:38.
At 4:35, the Pilots are ruled offside.
Less than two minutes in, the first mini-threat is generated by the Cougars, but Beau Bremer's cross from the right is cut off by Portland goalkeeper Erin Dees.
7:03 p.m. - Kickoff in Portland.
6:55 p.m. - Lineups are being introducted to the crowd. The Cougars will start Gurveen Clair at goalkeeper, Jamie Schnieders, Mariah Cameron, Rachael Doyle and Delaney Zalud along the backline, Nicole Setterlund, Lauren Previs and Micaela Castain at midfield, Beau Bremer, Jocelyn Jeffers and Korynn Blanksma up top.
The Washington State soccer team is set to battle No. 21 Portland (NCAA No. 3 seed) in the Division I Women's Soccer Championship.
