Rachael Doyle Earns Academic Honor

Cougar defender has posted a 3.92 GPA.

PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State soccer junior Rachael Doyle has been named to the Capital One CoSIDA District VIII All-Academic Second Team for NCAA Division I.

A native of North Epping, New South Wales, Australia, Doyle owns a 3.92 GPA as a movement studies major. She was named the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team and the All-Pac-12 Second Team in 2011.

Doyle has three goals, including two game-winners, in 2012 to go along with one assist. In addition, she has anchored a Cougar backline that has posted eight shutouts going into its regular season finale with Washington.
