After 110 minutes of action, Washington State (5-9-2) tied California (7-6-3), 0-0 at Berkeley Friday, Oct. 31. The Cougars are now 1-3-2 in Pac-10 play while the Golden Bears are 2-4-1 in conference.

Senior goalkeeper Sarah Leibowitz started the game for the Cougars, tallying five saves in the match, two in the second half and three in overtime. This is the first shutout for Leibowitz, the sixth for WSU.

WSU made seven shots in regulation play, adding four more in overtime. California took 13 shots in the match, five in overtime.

Washington State had three corner kick opportunities, two in the first overtime period.

Nine WSU players recorded shots in the game, including two on goal made by Haley Miller who came off the bench for the Cougs.

The Cougar defense held first-Team All-Pac-10 selection Kimberly Yokers to one shot in the match.

Washington State travels to Stanford Sunday, Nov. 2 to play the Cardinal.
