RECAP - Earned two letters in soccer at Gig Harbor High under coach Todd Nordstrom...named Peninsula Gateway Athlete of the Week and team Defensive MVP in final season with Tides after finishing season with 6.5 shutouts, 29 saves and four goals against...SOPHOMORE year, captained junior varsity soccer team at GHS...member of the Washington state Olympic Development player pool...as a JUNIOR, earned Narrows League honorable mention honors...named Tides Most Inspirational player...team placed first in league and made it to State 4A quarterfinals...finished season with 6.5 shutouts, 50 saves, and eight goals against...SENIOR year, was named All State honorable mention and earned all-league and all-area first team honors...spent two season with FC Royals Club Team that was 2005 and 2006 State Champions as well as Regional Quarterfinalists...coached by Brian Van Blommestien.
