WSU Cougar Cup Preview 
THIS WEEK
Following a second-place finish in its first tournament of the year, the Washington State women's golf team will host the WSU Cougar Cup at the Palouse Ridge Golf Course in Pullman, Wash., September 24-25...shotgun start will begin at 8 a.m. Monday, and 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.
THE COURSE
Washington State University's Palouse Ridge Golf Course is WSU's championship-level course located on campus...track will play at par 73 and 6,200 yards for the women's tournament...opened in August 2008, the course also played host to the men's Itani Quality Homes Palouse Collegiate earlier this season...men's NCAA Regionals are also set to be held at Washington State University's Palouse Ridge Golf Course in May 2013.
THE FIELD
Joining host school Washington State in the tournament field will be Brigham Young, California, UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton, Eastern Washington, Gonzaga, Idaho, Montana, Montana State, Nevada, Portland State, Sacramento State, and Santa Clara.
REPRESENTING WASHINGTON STATE
Competing for the Cougar women will be senior Emma Betland, sophomore Lindsay Harmon, senior Brenda Jesernig, junior Mallory Kent, freshman Rachel Lewis, senior Ellen Park, sophomore Kristen Rue, and freshman Nani Yanagi.
HEAD COACH Kelli Kamimura SAYS
"We are excited to host the Cougar Cup. It is always great to play at home and showcase Pullman and Palouse Ridge. We look forward to a great week and look to build off the momentum from our performance at OSU."
