Cougar Women Continue Fall Season with Home Event

On Tap This Week: The Washington State University women's golf team will host the third-annual Cougar Cup at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman, Wash., Sept. 20-22. The teams will play 18 holes each day Monday through Wednesday, with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. The Course: The Palouse Ridge Golf Club, which opened in August 2008, will play at 6,278 yards and a par 72 for the tournament. The Field: Joining the Cougars in the 11-school field will be Cal State Fullerton, Eastern Washington, Gonzaga, Idaho, Montana, Montana State, Nevada, Sacramento State, Seattle and Washington. The Huskies will be playing two teams. Representing WSU: Playing for the Cougars will be junior Kristen Allard, sophomores Ellen Park, Emma Betland and Ali Thompson and freshman Mallory Kent.
