Both players finished as the co-runners-up in the 36-player field and six strokes behind the winner. Lewis, out of Peninsula High School in Gig Harbor, Wash., posted an opening-round 88 before bouncing back with a pair of 76's in the final two rounds to finish three strokes behind her future teammates. "I am very excited for Mallory, Kristen and Rachel. All three players represented WSU very well on a tough course against some good competition," stated Cougars head coach Kelli Kamimura. "Mallory and Kristen both played some good golf towards the end of the season for us and they have continued to do so this summer. Rachel also has had a good summer and I'm looking forward to her joining the team this fall."
