THIS WEEK
Following a sixth-place finish at the Gold Rush presented by Farmers, the Washington State women's golf team will travel to Peoria, Ariz., to compete in the Westbrook Spring Invitational...tournament will be hosted by Wisconsin and the Westbrook Village Golf Club, and will be played February 24-25.
THE COURSE
The Westbrook Village Golf Club will play at par 72 and 6,269 yards for the tournament...competing athletes will play the first 36 holes of the 54-hole tournament Sunday, and the final 18 holes Monday...each day of competition will open with a 7:30 a.m. PT shotgun start.
THE FIELD
Joining host school No. 42 Wisconsin in the Westbrook Spring Invitational will be, in order of national ranking: No. 7 Arkansas, No. 9 Washington, No. 15 Texas Tech, No. 50 Indiana, No. 61 Mississippi State, No. 69 Kansas State, No. 75 Washington State, No. 85 Iowa, No. 98 Eastern Michigan, No. 118 Illinois, No. 122 Colorado State, and No. 139 Nebraska.
REPRESENTING WASHINGTON STATE
Representing the Cougar women in Arizona will be senior Emma Betland, sophomore Lindsay Harmon, junior Mallory Kent, freshman Rachel Lewis, and sophomore Kristen Rue. Washington State freshman Nani Yanagi will also be competing in the tournament as an individual.
