STANFORD, Calif. - Anastasia Kostina captured her first career tournament victory at the Stanford Women's Intercollegiate, Sunday.

Kostina, a junior, won the tournament by two strokes after firing three consecutive sub-par rounds, finishing at 205 (-5).

This was the final tournament of the fall season for the Washington State women's golf team. Kostina finished in the top-8 in each of the four tournaments in which the Cougars played.

As a team the Cougars finished in sixth place, ahead of Golfstat top-25 teams New Mexico (10), Tulsa (24), Texas (11), and Southern California (21).

Senior two-time All-American Kim Welch finished tied for 20th with a 219 (+9). Maria Kostina shot 224 (+14), Jay-Lee Longbottom shot 227 (+17), and Stephanie Parsley shot 229 (+19) to round out the scoring for Washington State.
