SAMMAMISH, Wash. - Junior Anastasia Kostina finished tied for third at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational at the Sahalee Golf and Country Club, Wednesday.

Kostina fired a 73 (+1) in the final round, the third lowest score of the day. She shot 223 (+7) for the tournament. This is the third consecutive tournament in which she finished in the top-eight.

Kostina led the tournament field in par-4 scoring with a 4.03 scoring average. She also finished tied for third in number of pars and tied for 12th in number of birdies.

The Cougars finished tied for seventh as a team, beating Golfweek top-25 teams Stanford, California and Brigham Young.

Rounding out the scoring for the Cougars were Stephanie Parsley with a 239 (+23), Jay-Lee Longbottom with a 240 (+24), and Maria Kostina and Kim Welch who each shot 244 (+28).
