SUNRIVER, Ore. - Washington State women's golf team sits in fifth place after completing the first two rounds of the Northwest Invitational at the 72 par, 6,100 yard Woodlands Golf Course, Monday.

Sophomore Ana Kostina, who is making her debut as a Cougar and sister Maria are both in the Top 25 at the end of Monday's play. Ana (77-77-154, +10) is tied for 15th, while Maria (78-77-155, +11) is currently tied for 21st.

Heading into Tuesday's final round, Kim Welch (79-77-156, +12) is tied for 26th and sits just 4 shots outside of the Top 10. Jay-Lee Longbottom is tied for 41st and Stephanie Parsley is tied for 66th to round out the Cougar contingent.

Tuesday's final round begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.
