Anastasia Kostina Sits Among The Top 25 After First Round At Pac-10 Championship

SOMIS, Calif. - Following are results through Monday's first round of the Pac-10 Championship at the par 72, 6,405 yard Saticoy Country Club.

After 18 holes, Anastasia Kostina sits in an eight-way tie for 25th. The Nakhabino, Russia native heads into Tuesday's second round just two shots out of the top 15 and four shots out of the top 10.

All-American Kim Welch enters the second round tied for 33rd, while Jay Lee Longbottom is currently tied for 45th. Junior Maria Kostina sits in a tie with teammate Heather O'Leary, who is competing as an individual, for the 51st position. The Cougar contingent is rounded out by Stephanie Parsley, who is in 57th place.
