Cougars Tie for Seventh in Hawaii

OAHU, Hawaii - The WSU women's golf team posted a final round score of 310 (+22) to finish tied for seventh at 934 (+70) Tuesday.

Kristen Rue carded an 80 (+8) to finish tied for 25th at 233 (+17). Mallory Kent posted a 77 (+5) for a final total at235 (+19) and tied for 31st. Lindsay Harmon, making her spring season debut, carded a 76 (+4), her best round of the tournament. Harmon finished tied for 36th at 236 (+20).

Kristen Allard posted an 82 (+10) in the third round to finish at 237 (+21). Emma Betland shot her best round with a 77 (+5), for a 239 (+23) finish.

Playing as individuals for the Cougars, Beau Bremer carded an 83 (+11), totaling at 250 (+34). Ellen Park posted an 86 (+14) to finish at 252 (+36). Brenda Jesernig shot an 87 (+15) in the third round for a final score at 257 (+41).

WSU returns to the links March 26-27 at the Anteater Invitational in Dove Canyon, Calif.
