Cougars Complete Racing at Head of the Spokane

The Washington State women's rowing team competed against Gonzaga at the Head of the Spokane.

WSU CAREER: During fall season of SENIOR (2010-11) year, competed in the varsity eight , helping to defeat Stanford, Oklahoma, Iowa, Tulsa, and Gonzaga...continued to compete in varsity eight during spring season of junior year, leading to victories over Michigan, Ohio State, and Oregon State...led the team to a fourth place finish at the Pacific-10 Conference Championships and a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Rowing Championships...named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) 2011 Division I All-West Region Second Team...named to the 2011 Pocock All-America First Team...rowed with the second varsity eight crew in the fall and varsity eight in the spring as a JUNIOR (2009-10)...helped the varsity eight to three victories over Gonzaga during the fall season and a second-place finish to Washington at the Head of the Lake...in the spring rowed with the varsity eight to a fourth-place finish at the San Diego Crew Classic and third-place finish at the Lake Natoma Invite...member of the Cougs' varsity eight that took victories at Washington and at home against Oregon State...varsity eight finished 14th at the NCAA Championships, as team finished 13th overall...as a SOPHOMORE (2008-09) competed in varsity eight after transferring to WSU prior to spring semester...part of varsity eight that finished sixth at the Pacific-10 Conference Championships.

CLUB CAREER: Rowed two seasons for Auckland Regional Performance Centre...raced with New Zealand U21 Youth Cup crew in 2008...won gold in women's eight and bronze in women's pair B division.

HIGH SCHOOL: Participated in rowing, netball, and dragonboating at Westlake Girls High School.

PERSONAL: Sarah Louise Wolff...born in December of 1988 in Auckland, New Zealand...father Robert manages a computer software company... mother Robyn works as a receptionist...younger brother Matthew and sister Emma...majoring in psychology at WSU.
