Women's Rowing Sweeps Gonzaga for Second-Consecutive Year

The Washington State women's rowing holds onto the Fawley Cup.

WSU CAREER: Spent the fall season of FRESHMEN (2011-2012) with the third varsity eight...competed in the varsity four events at the Washington, Gonzaga and Oregon State duals.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in club gymnastics and rowing throughout high school.

CLUB CAREER: Attended Naydenov Gymnastics for over 10 years...during freshman year of high school attended the Western National for competitive gymnastics, placing first on the floor and third on the uneven bars ...competed at Nationals for competitive gymnastics and placed first on the uneven bars at the National Invitation Tournament...also competed at the Vancouver Lake Crew Club for two years...attended regionals twice and Nationals during senior year in a lightweight double.

PERSONAL: Sarah Lauren Wu...born in April of 1993...father Stephen is a dentist...mother Lynn works as a substitute para-educator...brother Chris...member of the National Honors Society (3.7)...enjoys art, watching movies, and sleeping...undecided on major.
