WSU Varsity Four Highlights a Solid Day of Cougar Rowing

Each varsity four boat defeated its Husky counterpart Friday.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named female junior rower of the year by both the Calgary Rowing Club and Alberta Rowing Association in 2011...in 2010, won gold at the Royal Canadian Henley in double competition...took first for Alberta in a singles event at the 2011 Western Canada Summer Games...competed in swimming, cross country, volleyball, and field hockey at Bowness High School...earned female athlete of the year freshmen and sophomore years...cross-country MVP as a freshmen...named swimming and field hockey MVP following her sophomore year...earned Great Bear Award for leadership.

PERSONAL: Born Nicole Bailey Hare...born July of 1994 in Calgary...father Lyle is a chiropractor, mother Pia Steinmuller is a registered nurse...sister Danielle competed for Syracuse in field hockey...brother Karl...enjoys sports and geocaching...interested in a pursuing a business degree at Washington State.
