Cougars Finish Sixth at Pac-12 Rowing Championships

WSU finished just one and a half points behind 10th-ranked Stanford.

WSU CAREER: Coxed the junior varsity eight boat to victory at the Head of the Lake during fall season of her JUNIOR (2011-12) year...in the spring, led the varsity four to a second-place finish in the Karen Plumleigh Cortney Cup Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic...navigated the varsity eight to victory in the Oregon State dual, capturing the Crawford Plate and helping the Cougars grab the Winchell Cup for the third consecutive year...honorable mention Pac-12 All Academic...during the fall season of SOPHOMORE (2010-11) year, coxed the varsity eight, second varsity eight, and second varsity four to defeats over Texas, Oklahoma, Tulsa, Kansas State, and Colorado State...during spring season coxed the second varsity four to a victory over Oregon State...received honorable mention Pacific-10 Conference All-Academic honors...coxed the novice eight during the spring as a FRESHMAN (2009-10)...crew won the Laurel V. Korholz Perpetual Trophy at the San Diego Crew Classic...novice eight finished second a the Lake Natoma Invitational...finished fifth at the Pac-10 Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year member of Oregon Association of Rowers junior crew...coxed varsity quad as a senior...finished third in women's open quad at Head of the American...second-place finish at Covered Bridge...coxed varsity quad to finals at Northwest regional.
