WSU CAREER: As a JUNIOR (2008-09) placed second in the open four and placed third in the collegiate four at the Head of the Oklahoma...helped second varsity eight finish second at the Head of the Lake...assisted second varsity eight in winning petite final at the San Diego Crew Classic...part of second varsity eight that placed sixth at Pacific-10 Conference Championships...as a SOPHOMORE (2007-08) competed in the second varsity eight...helped boat to a fourth-place finish at the Head of the Oklahoma and first-place finishes at the Head of the Spokane and Head of the Lake...defeated Stanford and Saint Mary's at the Stanford Invitational...part of second varsity eight's eighth-place finish at the NCAA Championship...as a FRESHMAN (2006-07) rowed on the novice squad.

HIGH SCHOOL: Participated in volleyball, basketball, softball and track for Corning Union High School...earned a total of 10 varsity letters...voted Hamilton High School Volleyball Tournament MVP for three consecutive years...sophomore year received CUHS Volleyball Gatorade Rookie of the Year honors...junior year voted CUHS Volleyball Gatorade Player of the Year...senior year made Northern Athletic League Volleyball All-Academic and All-League teams.

PERSONAL: Erika Elin Jorgensen...born in January of 1988 in Chico, Calif...father Frederick is a SMS Evaluator and mother Toni is a business assistant...older sister Jessica played volleyball for the College of the Siskiyous...older sister Megan...cousins Karin and Amy Brevick rowed for WSU through the 2008-09 season...enjoys sports, hunting, quilting and traveling...majoring in biological sciences at WSU.
