Cougars Complete Racing at Head of the Spokane

The Washington State women's rowing team competed against Gonzaga at the Head of the Spokane.

WSU CAREER: Rowed for the third varsity four during fall of SOPHOMORE (2011-12) year...competed with the novice team as a FRESHMAN (2010-11).

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner in track and field at Seattle Lutheran for coach Aaron Van Antwerp...as a senior, placed fourth in Tri-District for javelin and named team throwing captain...also a three-year latterwinner in volleyball for head coach Emily Davis...earned scholastic honors all four years...also earned varsity honors in basketball during sophomore year for head coach Bruce Carlson.

PERSONAL: Hannah Elizabeth Jacobs...born in November of 1991...father John attended Washington State and now works as a financial advisor...mother Kristie is an office assistant...sister Amy...cousin Joel competed in track and field at Oral Roberts...cousin Marie runs cross-country and track at Northwest Nazarene University...member of the National Honors Society and Key Club during high school...elected as high school class and all-school vice president...member of drama and youth leadership team in high school...enjoys photography, running, piano and guitar...interested in pursuing a degree in kinesiology at Washington State.
