Cougars To Play Five Conference Games On Pac-12 Networks

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Washington State University women's basketball will play five of its Pac-12 Conference games on television, the conference office announced Thursday.

The Pac-12's women's basketball slate will feature a couple changes in 2012-13. Teams will play conference games Fridays and Sundays but will face their respective rival, home and away, Tuesday and Sunday of the same week.

The Cougars open conference play hosting the Arizona schools the first weekend of January, facing University of Arizona Friday, Jan. 4 and Arizona State University Sunday, Jan. 6.

WSU will play its next three on the road, heading to Los Angeles to face UCLA, Jan. 11 on the Pac-12 Networks National and will close the trip at USC, Jan. 13. Two days later, the Cougars will matchup against University of Washington in Seattle Tuesday, Jan. 15 on the Pac-12 Networks National.

Washington State returns to Pullman to host the Huskies Sunday, Jan. 20 which will be televised by Pac-12 Networks Washington. Following a weekend hosting University of Oregon, Jan. 25 and Oregon State University, Jan. 27, the Cougars again hit the road for matchups at Arizona State, Feb. 1 and Arizona, Feb. 3.

The second weekend of February will see WSU host USC, Feb.8 and UCLA, Feb. 9. Washington State will travel for two straight weekends late in February, facing Oregon State, Feb. 15 and Oregon, Feb.17 on Pac-12 Networks Oregon/Washington. The next week will see the Cougars close out their road slate with matchups at University of Colorado, Feb. 22 and University of Utah, Feb. 24.

WSU wraps up the regular season hosting University of California, Feb. 24 and Stanford University, Feb. 26 on Pac-12 Networks National.
