The Washington State women's basketball team celebrated freshman guard Dawnyelle Awa's birthday after dinner Thursday evening. The Cougars traveled to Boulder, Colo. Thursday morning, practiced in the afternoon and later had dinner and cupcakes at the hotel.

Washington State faces No. 20/23 University of Colorado Friday at 6 p.m. (PT).
