Five Cougars Receive WSU All-Academic Honors

PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State women's basketball players redshirt-senior Katie Grad, senior Carly Noyes, redshirt-junor Ireti Amojo, junior Brandi Thomas and freshman Mariah Cooks were all recognized at halftime of Wednesday's men's basketball game after earning WSU All-Academic honors.

First-year student-athletes were recognized for owning a 3.0 GPA after their first semester along with student-athletes who have been at WSU for two-plus semesters and posted a 3.0 GPA in their last two semesters.

In their last two semesters, Amojo posted a 3.20 GPA, Grad a 3.64 GPA, Noyes a 3.78 GPA and Thomas a 3.07 GPA. Cooks posted a 3.86 GPA in her first fall semester.
