PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State women's basketball team fell to the USC Women of Troy 89-36 in Pacific-10 Conference action, Saturday night at Friel Court.

Rometra Craig scored 19 points to lead a contingent of five USC players who scored in double figures. Meghan Gnekow (17 points), Rachel Woodward (13 points), Ebony Hoffman (11 points) and Jessica Cheeks (11 points) completed the quintet.

Lindsey Egeland led WSU with seven points while Holly Harris grabbed a game-tying high nine rebounds. Woodward also had nine boards for USC.

USC shot 34-of-68 (50 percent) from the field while WSU was 12-of-54 (22.2 percent).

The Cougars return to action, Thursday, Feb. 6 at Arizona State at 5 p.m., Pacific.
