Earned nine varsity letters at Ashland High...four in basketball for coach Ken Lathen, four in soccer under coach Eric Wolff, and one in track with coach Ron Grahm...as a FRESHMAN, AHS basketball team finished eighth in State...SOPHOMORE year, started for Grizzlies...played with the Portland Elite Basketball Organization...as a JUNIOR, named first team all-conference and earned All-State honorable mention honors...captain of Grizzlies team that finished atop Southern Oregon Conference...averaged 16.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 3.6 steals per game...played with Oregon Selects...SENIOR year, earned Southern Oregon Conference Player of the Year honors...named second team All-State...averaged 15.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 3.4 steals per game...captained AHS team that repeated at SOC champion and finished fifth at State tournament...nominated as a McDonalds All-American and as a Wendy's High School Heisman candidate...earned Mail Tribune Player of the Month accolades...played in the Oregon/Washington All-Star game.
