Maurice "Mo" Hines is in his sixth year working in the Washington State University staff and enters his first as the team's video coordinator.
Prior to joining the WSU staff, Hines served as the head coach of the Emerald City Legends Elite girls' basketball team, a position he had held since 2005. One of the most well-known Seattle-area AAU coaches before joining the Cougar staff, Hines had also served as team director of the Emerald City Basketball Academy since 2002.
Hines coached several AAU teams to area and regional titles. In 2006 his 13-and-under team won the South Sound Invitational Championship and his 15-and-under team was a Deep South Classic semifinalist. He was also an adidas Junior Phenom coach in 2006.
In both 2004 and 2005 he coached junior teams to AAU National Qualifier championships.
Hines is a 1999 graduate of Seattle's Nathan Hale High School and is currently working on a degree at WSU.
