Men's Golf Heads to California for USC Collegiate Invitational

What's Happening This Week: The Washington State men's golf team heads to California this week to compete in the USC Collegiate Invitational held at the par-71, 6,900 yard North Ranch Community College golf course at Westlake Village, Calif...the two-day tournament begins Saturday with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. with 36 holes of play and will end with the final 18 holes Sunday teeing off at 7:15 a.m. The Field: The 15 team field includes USC, Stanford, Coastal Carolina, UCLA, Loyola Marymount, California, BYU, Oregon State, Oregon, Pepperdine, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas Tech, Tennessee and Washington State. Traveling for the Cougars: Five Cougars will be traveling south this week: senior Chris Collins, junior Jordan Mason, freshman Nick Grigsby, freshman Austin Hurt and freshman Kevin Tucker. Last Time Out: Inland Cup: Four Cougars completed the tournament with top-10 finishes. All golfers played as individuals in the tournament, led by senior Chris Collins with a 3rd place finish and a final score of 140. Austin Hurt and Chad Carlson both finished tied for 5th place, sharing scores of 142. Kevin Tucker achieved a new career low with a final round score of 69, while Nick Grigsby recorded a top-25 finish with a final score of 145. Washington State Men's Golf Notes
