Camp Breaks Into Top 15 After Three Rounds Of Pac-10 Championships

TUCSON, Ariz. - Washington State senior Ryan Camp is one round away from making his final Pacific-10 Championship his best as he sits tied for 14th after three rounds at The Gallery at Dove Mountain, a par 72, 7,412 yard course Tuesday.

After improving his position every round, Camp is just three shots out of the top 10 with a 4-over 220 (76-71-73). His third round score of 73 also included an eagle on the 558 yard par 5, hole No. 11. His three stroke average on par 3 holes also ranks third out of the entire field.

The Cougars jumped two spots in the standings from the first round and sit tied for eighth place with Oregon State after 54-holes. Led by Camp's 71, the Cougars best round came in the second when they fired a 374 (+14).

Freshmen Kevin Chen and Matt Fladwood sit tied for 35th at 228 (+12), while redshirt freshman Jordan Madison is tied for 45th. Sophomore Chad Carlson and junior Ben Bryson round out the Cougar contingent tied for 57th.

The final 18-holes are slated to tee off starting at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
