Collins Finishes Tied for 29th at U.S. Intercollegiate Presented by The Maple Fund

STANFORD, Calif. - Washington State sophomore Chris Collins finished tied for 29th at the U.S. Intercollegiate presented by The Maple Fund, Sunday. Collins, who missed a top 25 finish by one stroke, posted a three-round total of 220 (+10) at the par-70, 6,742-yard Stanford Golf Course. The Cougars finished in 15th place, posting a team score of 895 (303-295-297). This was the Cougars' last tournament of the season before hosting the Pacific-10 Conference Championships, April 25-27, at the Walla Walla Country Club in Walla Walla, Wash. Redshirt junior David Fern shot 225 (+15), sophomore Kevin Chen shot 226 (+16), and freshman Jordan Mason and junior Ryan Witz each shot 227 (+17) to round out the scoring for the Cougars.
