STANFORD, Calif. - The Washington State men's golf team is in a tie for 15th after two rounds of the U.S. Intercollegiate held at the par-70, 6,727-yard Stanford Golf Course. Kevin Tucker led WSU, finishing the first round at 71 (+1) before posting a 73 (+3) during the second round. The senior's two-round total of 144 (+4) put him in a tie for 32nd entering the final round.

Nick Ellis and Hank Frame finished in the two and three spots for the Cougars, respectively. Ellis carded a 73 during the opening round on his way to a 54-hole total of 149 (+9). Frame made eagle on the par-5 16th hole during the first round but will tee off tomorrow at 11-over-par.
