HUNTSVILLE, Texas- - Following are results through the first round of the Sam Houston Classic at the par 72, 6,943 yard Raven's Nest Golf Club.

Kevin Chen heads the Cougars as the freshman fired an even-par 72 to sit in a tie for 10th after the first 18 holes. Redshirt freshman Jordan Madison is tied for 21st after an opening round 2-over 74.

Two rounds were scheduled for Sunday but only one round was completed due to rain. The final 36 holes of the scheduled 54-hole tournament are planned for Monday. The second round commences with a 7 a.m. Central Time shotgun start.
