WSU Finishes in Seventh at Coastal Carolina Invite

MURRELLS INLET, S.C. -

The Washington State men's golf team finished in seventh at the Coastal Carolina Invite at the Par 72, 6,920 yard TPC of Myrtle Beach, Tuesday.

Dustin White led all Cougars with a tie for 18th (76-75-73, 224) by improving on his score every round. White earned a record setting 27th career Top 25 finish after entering the tournament tied for first in the career mark at 26 with Jon Reehoorn. Brendon De Jonge of Va. Tech finished in first overall (76-70-67, 213).

Ryan Camp averaged a 76 over the three days and finished in a tie for 30th (77-77-76, 228), followed by Chad Carlson at a tie for 33rd (75-77-77, 229), Isaac Woods at a tie for 43rd (74-75-83, 232), and Ryan Ressa at a tie for 61st (78-78-81, 237) to round out the Cougar contingent.

The Cougars as a team finished in the top half of the 14-team field, and look to the Duck Invitational Mar. 24-25 to get back to the links.
