Anderson Captures First Career Title

Michael Anderson tied for first place in the Snowman Getaway at 7-under. WSU placed second in the team standings.

Cougars Travel South for Snowman Getaway

This will be the fourth annual Snowman Getaway hosted by WSU.

WSU CAREER
RS Sophomore (2011-12):
Played in just three tournaments for the Cougars because of injury...finished top 25 in two of those tournaments...carded a 71 in the first round of the Palouse Collegiate Invitational, which was his best single-round mark in the three tournaments.

RS Freshman (2010-11): Competed in four tournaments for the Cougars...had two top-10 finishes...finished tied for fifth at the Wolf Pack Classic...at the Purple and Red Invitational he had a career-low round of 68 and he finished tied for third overall, a career-best finish...had a season scoring average of 72.45.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Earned four varsity letters under head coach Bob Dwyer...junior year voted first-team All-Metro League...tied for first at the district championship...finished eighth at the WIAA 3A State Championships...finished fifth in his IJGT debut and 13th in his NJGA debut...senior year voted team captain...garnered first-team all-league recognition for the second-straight year...finished ninth at the state tournament.
